The "Montana Dueling Dinosaurs" Replicas Series

Item #MDDM1
Description: MDD Theropod Skull Profile In-Situ
Size: 29" Long
Condition: Hand Painted, Clearcoat Protectant, Choice of Mount (Wall or Table)
Limited Series #1-#250
Includes Certificate
Cast Material: Non-Toxic AquaResin (Outer shell is Aquaresin, Inner Shell is plaster & fiberglass mat for strength)
Item #MDDM1 - This replica features the MDD Theropod's skull profile, in-situ. This means it is the fossils original location in the matrix. The original fossils were not removed from the matrix before making this replica. This skull is one of the best I have ever seen from a meat eating dinosaur. When the dinosaur was buried, it shifted the skull in the center, which you can see in the first image. The rest of it is outstanding, even the hyoid is present and in its original position. The dentition is also excellent, down to the serration in the teeth. Many of the teeth are absent, these teeth are the ones found around and in the Ceratopsian! This is one of the best (if not the best) examples of a Tyrannosaurid skull. There is no restoration to the skull, it is really all there! To learn more about the dinosaurs, be sure to visit www.paleoincidentproject.com. This is an excellent replica with outstanding detail. This series will be limited to 250 pieces. All will be numbered and include a certificate.
